The Farmer and his horse : Stories Of Wisdom S1

There was once an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. “Such bad luck,” they said sympathetically. “Maybe,” the farmer replied. The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. “How wonderful,” the neighbors exclaimed. “Maybe,” replied the old man. The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy for what they called his “misfortune.” “Maybe,” answered the farmer. The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. “Maybe,” said the farmer. The point out that the lesson of the farmer is, of course, that no event in and of itself can truly be judged as good or bad, lucky or unlucky, fortunate or ...

Unknown benefits of Visiting Temples : Legend Of India S2

Ah... here goes another grandma's advice from a teenager.  I know that this might be your current thoughts in your voice. Our generation doesn't look at visiting temples as something cool and attractive compared to parties or a concert. But after reading the following lines I hope atleast some might change their opinion on this. 1. Activating the 5 senses Sight : Upon seeing the god's idol which would be mostly surrounded by a darkness or little light. It is said that they resonant at a certain frequency which makes your left And right hemisphere to be in synchronized.  Smel...

V : Movie Lessons S1

“That’s the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet.”– Jhumpa Lahiri en   This quote also befits the Movies which we watch I think, isn't it. Watching a movie is a experience in a rollercoaster of emotions with the characters played in it. Weather you watch the movie Harry Potter or read the novel, the experience is never differentiated. I think whether it's a book or a movie , if observed closely they will help in analysing our surrounding world through the lens of the Director or Author. It's my personal belief that a person if never the same after he had watched a movie or read a book. And also whatever we watch or read is nothing but the clear perspective of the world from the creator's point of view. Why don't we combine both books and movies and see whether we can learn something from movies also. It's a personal thing that I've noticed from this movie ( V ). There are a few things that I had learnt I think, which are 1. The Zen...

Now take a look at the below photo. It's weird right, now it's Africa it was just a fake news but it's not 100% fake it's true that they had changed our Education System from Gurukkal System to this Modern Classroom Based System, which has many flaws, remember we had the best Universities like Takshashila and Nalanda. And one more from this photo is that, it is said that to destroy a nation we just have to destroy their language, it's 100% true based on my Perspective which I had got during my college days in Tamil Nadu , I used to have friends who are very much rooted to their mother tongue, they used to have a bad vibe if anyone speaks in Hindi as it is said that Hindi language had been given highest priority than Tamil in Education from the Central government for which they m...
